Interstellar Affair
I wrote this piece in lieu of all the conversation about the state of interplanetary travel. I would love to know you guys opinion 
We are not alone in the universe.
We are cursed to carry our own hurst to ancient burial.
Old knowledge lost to the ages, power structures kept the truth.
Now they seek to sacrifice our youth for the welfare of aliens.
The Babylonian war rises, but do you know where your alliance is?
The truth is your soul is at stake for the sake of advantages.
For immortality will you forsake your eternity?
Celestial beings bring immortality in the ethereal, but they came also from the primordial.
Their rules are authoritative like a hammer to those who are bold enough to rise up.
Is your faith tough enough to reject the stellar for the earthly?
Or is your grand rising better than a good morning?
Will you bow to false angels or remember the choir that birthed David and the like?
Will you surrender the strife of human life for the opportunity to reach through the heavens?
Eleven saints can stop an army, but only if they can last long enough for Calvary.
But will they see the enemy clearly, or is the monster within you and me?
I’ll leave you with the question.
Is the reality we see better than the future celestial demons sling between our citizenry?
