Embarking on new adventures…

Hello, Write Edge readers, and happy Memorial Day! I want to say, first of all, how deeply grateful I am to all of our service men and women, present and former. They’ve given their lives, whether in name or in truth, to insure that we can enjoy the freedoms we have today. Thank you so much. Your sacrifices are immeasurable and incomparable.

Can you believe it’s the last day of May? Today we change the page of the calendar, and I get to celebrate a major milestone: I’m sending the manuscript of my novella to my publisher (!!), Atmosphere Press, for proofreading. As soon as I have a release date, I’ll share it here. It’s the start of a new adventure, that’s for sure, and I’m thrilled and terrified. More on that in the weeks to come. :>

The last Monday of the month also means our writers’ showcase. There are some beautiful pieces to read this month, including one full of melancholy about a man who loses his best friend and also the journey of a pearl. Find them all now on The Write Edge Writing Workshop!

In the middle of the week, I’ll post a new book review for you. This Wednesday I’ll let you know what I thought of Girl One by Sara Flannery Murphy. Check it out on The Write Edge Bookshelf!

Finally, on Friday, back to Instagram and a little peek into my vacation/non-vacation (depending on who you ask. :D) Check it all out at the end of the week!
