Cora I saw your recent blog post and just wanted to say that Network Effect had a profound impact on me. Even if it doesn't win an award (which I think it should), it touched my heart in ways few books do. It was all I could think about for days, which is really refreshing working in medicine in the pandemic. Thank you so much for all the care and thought you so clearly put into your work. Thank you for sharing these stories. Much love and best wish on your kitties and your car and your finger.

You’re right, this book should win an award!

I’m actually replying because I’m wondering how the sentient robot killer who, mostly, hates humans had a, “profound effect” on you?

Paraskevi Does Murderbot actually hate humans? I think not, I believe Murderbot just prefers to be left alone like a neurodivergent person. And they like ART (okay, ART is a sentient ship), and they like Mensah and a few others from Preservation.

Nedam Murderbot doesn't use pronoun "they" it uses pronoun "it". You should respect person's choice of pronoun no matter what your opinion or reason. (Fans often say "it" is dehumanizing. Irrelevant, it's Murderbot's choice)
