You Created MOST of Your Problems

Don’t complicate life. Life is actually very straightforward. Ups and downs happen to everyone. We all experience pain, hardship, grief and suffering. You have to learn to take things in stride.

Again, don’t complicate life, my friend. Don’t create problems that aren’t there in the first place. Live simply. There’s no need for excesses. As you read this week’s blog, don’t overthink.

Life can take many turns. Things don’t always go the way we’d like, which can be a good thing. Problems come up left and right…or do they? What is a problem, really? Do we have as many problems as we think we do, or do we complicate life by thinking something is wrong?

In reality, your attitude determines whether you have a problem and how big it is. It’s how you evaluate a situation that makes it a problem, or that turns a challenge into a threat.

When you don't give yourself to the actual things you were created to do, you will spend most of your life solving the problems that emerge from doing the things that you weren't supposed to do in the first place.

Live your life in accordance with your purpose. If you’re honest with yourself, you will accept the fact that…

….you have created most of your problems. The truth hurts, so we try to avoid it. Most of our problems are created by the mind.

Life would be much simpler if you could turn off the mind when it's not needed and use it without attacking your identity.

This is a reminder that 90% of the problems you face in life, are created from your own actions. From this day forward, take responsibility and face your life head on and own it.

Don't blame others for every difficulty you face, as that difficulty is most likely your own doing. If you accept things for the way they are, you’ll be able to take advantage of the opportunities for learning and growth they provide. Acceptance is one solution to adversity, to adapt and start anew, when there’s no other way to innovate or when the price for any alternative is too high.

Whether or not you like it, want it, or are prepared for it, adversity will cross your path at some point. You’ll have a lot of questions when that time comes. The most important question to ask is: what are you going to do next and how will you incorporate what you learn in the future?

In other words, are you going to let the situation become a problem, or will it be another opportunity for learning and growth?
