“You won’t remember me, but I will never forget you.”

May be an image of one or more people and text that says 'Destroy the pa chy'I got my second Pfizer shot yesterday morning. I’m looking at the lovely woman who is giving me my jab, and I am telling her, “I know this is your job, and I know you won’t remember me among the thousands of people you’ve jabbed, but I will never forget you. Thank you for giving me my life back.”She told us that they have a ton of doses available at Pierce College, and they are accepting walk-ins all weekend long. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes, and we got Salt & Straw on the way home. It was awesome. It’s been just under 24 hours, and I have had zero side effects.. The only thing I felt at all was a sore arm, like the first jab, and a mild headache last night (that may be related to all this stress I’m carrying in my shoulders and neck). This morning, I don’t feel anything at all, other than the 5G handshaking with Bill Gates, and my personal WiFi hotspot starting to configure itself. And because it’s a FAQ on Instagram: my T-shirt says “Destroy the patriarchy!” I bought it from Pussy Riot.

Sophie HT That's so lovely! People rarely hear when they do a good job.

On behalf of all the "little people" (I come from a retail background) thank you for taking a second out of your day to treat another human being as an actual person and not a robot servant!!!

Additionally ----- Lookin' good Wheaton!!

Taaya This makes me think about buying a ticket and coming over to the US to get one of the walk-in shot. (Probably not possible without being a citizen or having a green card or at least a US adress. And even if it were, I don't have the money. But it's SO annoying that as someone with half a lung and asthma I'm still fighting to even have the right to be prioritised here in Germany. We're still at 20% first shot and 7% second shot although a German company invented the first freaking vaccine.) (Yeah, I'm a little jealous. But I'm also happy you got your vaccine, Wil :) )

Ronnie You're one of the good guys Wil Wheaton

Bill Congrats, Wil! I'm getting my first shot in about 3 hours. Looking forward to the 5g upgrade ;-).

Lisa Macklem Only _just_ qualified for a shot in Canada yesterday (I'm 58). I'll get my first jab in 2 weeks... the second likely in 2 months if I'm lucky.
I suffer from depression - and I've only just been holding on. Seeing the flood of all my American friends getting them has been heartbreaking. I've turned to destructive ways of coping - but at least I'm still alive.

Colleen What a unifying event vaccination has been! I got my second Pfizer shot last week as well, and it's been such a long time coming for everyone that the experience will always be imprinted in our memories. Maybe not quite at "Where were you when Kennedy was shot?" levels, but reminiscent of that.

Everything about this post is fantastic! Great photo too.
Got my second Pfizer shot a couple of weeks ago. Kicked. My. Butt for 24+ hours, but after that all good.

Lisa, I'm not a professional, so I can't offer advice on how to help you. I just wanted to say I'd read your comment and feel for you. Strive for uplifting rather than destructive ways of coping? Depression is zero fun. I hope you're getting some help for it. <3

Tracee I went through all the emotions in your post, Wil, well done!

I can’t wait until you can once again say, “Canada, I am in you!”

Anne S Great on your second shot. I just got mine this past week too. Now if the vacc haters would get theirs, we'd be out of this pandemic sooner than later. Thanks for sharing.

Eric Got both Moderna shots--the second one about two weeks ago. Good to see you getting your shots, too, Wil!

What exactly are those tattoos on your right arm, by the way? Just wondering!!!
