What is the nickname “Dillie” short for?

Yes, I know I named her that, but it was a long time ago. The only thing that comes to mind is Tom Bombadil and just no on that. Dylan is a possibility, but that would make her Dylie, wouldn’t it?

This is going to drive me nuts.

Sandy Jay I like Dylan. I've also heard Cordelia called Dillie. If people can get Dillie out of that, you can certainly get Dillie out of Dylan.

Deborah I always felt like Dillie's mom was desperate to gain her mother-in-law's approval, so chose a flower name but didn't get it quite right. That would make Dillie short for Daffodil.

Elena Dillie always reminded me of the ee cummings line about daffy down dillys which made sense to me since Phin had a bookstore 📖 📚 📖
