Current obsession:  the way Sherlock opens Mycroft’s file with this solemn businesslike flip, all ready to go through the updates on John’s job and health and relationships

But ends up just staring at John’s picture for ten seconds and putting it down without looking at any of the other papers

Then turns to Mycroft like “Yeah I’m off to surprise John, where’s my coat”

sherlock: i’m going to have to get John to get rid of the beard.

mycroft: that is clearly a moustache.

sherlock: you know exactly what I’m talking about.
