reading dreaming thinking

I am still working on the reading list I posted recently, but I haven't strayed from it! Well, not much. I could easily derail myself entirely by reading all of Elizabeth Hand's books – but I need to point myself in a different direction. Toward my draft, that I hope to get back to in March.

I'm looking for good books or movies about creative geniuses who go insane – like "Amadeus" or "Black Swan." I know that those two movies are very different, but there is that theme of "brilliant person pushed to the brink for his/her art" in both of them. Any thoughts?
