Thank you all so much for being interested in my writing, and I hope you enjoy Across the Street.  

Writing Across the Street was a bit special for me. I am an identical twin (my sister’s name, coincidentally, is Lisa), and thankfully, we never had to consider surrogacy.  We did, however, talk occasionally about how interesting it was to be best friends and have identical genes.  So, it was uniquely fun for me to explore the limits of love between twin sisters as I wrote the book. 

I very much like to stay in touch with my readers, and I encourage you to reach out to me via Goodreads or my website (LaurieLisa.com) with any questions or comments about the book.  A number of book club groups have asked me to attend their meeting (via Zoom), which I think is great fun.
