Brent library campaigners denied further closure challenges

The final appeal to supreme court against halving the London borough's libraries provision will not be heard. Backed by literary names including Philip Pullman, Jacqueline Wilson, Zadie Smith and Alan Bennett, Brent residents have been campaigning for more than a year to save six local libraries.
