My son asked my 8 yr old grandson for an undead monster. "A War Eater."

Father "A War Eater?"

Son "They are made when a soldier dies of old wounds, but not during battle. They are undead that eat wars."

I picture a titan with AK-47 fingers, skin of scaled kevlar vests, etc.

…and I played with it a little in the response, trying to expand on the idea while keeping it legitimately horrific. It’d be easy enough to make it almost cutesy, but where’s the fun in THAT?
