I like to think Shift has some great moments of comedy and some great moments of real darkness. Because I'm nothing if not schizophrenic. (And Roan gets "adopted" by a hockey team. One of the most absurd things to happen in his absurd life.)
Even more excited now if that's possible.
Just read the excerpt for Revolution and didn't recognize the hockey players. Now I know why. May/June can't come soon enough.
Oops! Yeah, sorry about that. But you'll learn all about them - and how they and Roan crossed paths - in Shift.
Can't wait for the next book - loved them all so far even though Bloodlines and Life After Death had me in tears. Roan is an amazing character.
He's fun to write. (I realize he can be terribly dark. He's still fun to write.)
