New Kickstarter!  Servant of the Black Dog is a mini about dark fae folklore and trying to distinguish what is really happening around us.

Description under the cut

PAGE001

Panel1:  A lake.  It’s dark and dreary.

Panel2:  Repeat panel 1.  A figure walks into frame.  Their arms are up, carrying something.

PAGE002

Panel1:  We cannot see the figure’s face.  They’re well hooded.  They are holding an urn.

Panel2:  The urn is poured out.

Panel3:  The ashes hit the water.

Panel4:  The blackness spreads out.

PAGE003

TitlePage:  Servant of the Black Dog

PAGE004

Panel1:  Blake bumbles into the kitchen.  Her mom is making an egg for herself.

           BLAKE:  Morning.

           MOM: Morning!

Panel2:  Blake grabs a bowl.

           MOM: Sleep well?

           BLAKE:  Mm. Weird dreams.

Panel3:  Mom eats her eggs.

           MOM: Ah.  The family curse.

Panel4:  Blake eats.

BLAKE:  I’m at a crossroads.  In the middle of nowhere.

PAGE005

SPLASHPAGE:  Blake talks.

BLAKE:  And there’s a dog.  It looks like a normal dog.  All black, kind of big.  But the eyes are just a little red?  It’s sort of blurry, but like, paintspatters.

BLAKE:  I’m not scared of the dog.  Even though it’s crouched.  Like it wants to attack.

BLAKE:  I opens its mouth to bark.

BLAKE:  But instead it screams.
