How to buy overhyped books in 5 easy steps:
1. Refuse to buy a book that’s second in a series and you’re not even sure you like the cover (I mean, bees?) although the colors are nice.
2. Go on instagram and see everyone and their mother posting about it. (But not reading it, of course, this is bookstagram after all).
3. Proceed to order it online and wait approximately 5 months for it to arrive. Alternatively, you can wait for it for as long as it takes for you to forget what you ordered, what it looks like and why you thought it was a good idea to buy it in the first place. Either will work.
4. When it arrives, photograph the heart out of it, but attention! On no account must you read it. You may add it to you tbr pile, but only if it’s over 200 books long.
5. Post it on instagram and sit back and relax. The overhyped book has fulfilled its purpose. Right? Wait, what do you mean when will I read it?
For real though, has anyone read #chainofiron ? What did you think? I have yet to read #chainofgold, but I hate waiting for the second book in a series, so I will probably marathon them this weekend. Yay!
