Yeah, you're right. Writing a review of a book you've read very little of isn't done. Because it's ignorant and self-indulgent. And just because you can't appreciate Rand's masterpiece has zero bearing on the book's value. Bet yours is a real page turner though.

Yes, it's very self indulgent. I'll give you that. I still think her masterpiece is boring. I'm not saying it's bad. I'm saying I didn't finish it. Yet. Yeah, it's probably ignorant on my part too, but I'm not bashing it. I'm saying I'm not fulfilled. I'm not knocking her writing style. I'm saying what she's saying isn't concerning me. I could be wrong. On any level--and I'm not being facetious--thanks for the feedback.
I don't think there is any issue with you righting a review about a book you didn't finish, especially if the main point is why you didn't finish. I am 600pages in and I'm at the point of no return. I will finish it. I have to say I have really started to enjoy this book. I won't lie, I do skip over some of long winded details she draws out. Coming from a punk rock (but please don't label me to quickly) back ground I had a hard time at first accepting the herofication of rich egotistical characters. I have however, come to like them and my interpretation of Rand's point became clearer to me around 400 pages. The point I am taking from this book is that there are people that work hard and achieve success and their are people who are successful in the same way as a parasite, slowly killing the host. And that our perceptions of the parasite can be mislead to think they are reversed. There are several ideas to take away from this book but that is merely one of mine. And by the way U.L. I fully expect your book to be real page turner and I look forward to reading it.
