With This Lie

So honestly, I've had this on my kindle for a while and I forgot about it but after I devoured Savage's A chance at love series & Hawk I knew I needed to give the rest of her novels a chance. I didn't read the blurb, I personally like to go blind into things and after reading the other reviews I'm glad I did. This book is problematic, I'll give them that, but its also fiction. For me, I like to read about things that are opposite of real life, I butt heads with people who enjoy fantasy but get upset with cheating. Yes its wrong, no I'm not condoning it, but it's also a fiction novel, and it does happen in real life. So I'm glad I gave this book a chance and blindly read it.

With that said I did have some questions because with the premise that Dani only dates married men & Lucas is pretending to be married, they did jump into things offly fast. Like okay, they both didn't say it out loud but I was surprised at how quickly things progressed romantically.

I loved the twists Savage added. Although some of them were a bit predictable, I liked them. The writing was great, Savage always writes characters that keep me interested, making me care about them which shows a great writer.

If you can realize that this is fiction, give this book a chance.
