Coming… Eventually… Maybe
The story about the adaptation of IN THE LOST LANDS broke a week or so back.
And now, hard on the heels of that, comes the announcement about another story of mine being developed as a movie.
“Sandkings” was the story I was best known for, before A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE came along. As much as I want TWOW to come out, I think I understand his problem with it. The show took over the story and finished it... badly, though all in all I think that was more or less Martin's ending, they just did a crap job of telling it. Now, he is supposed to go back, and finish his story in the face of what the show did... and if it were me... I would have a very difficult time not only finishing it, but having to fix it. I am not explaining this well, but I think I get it. I hope that he does fix it. Cheers to you, George.

He's not going to write a seven-to-eight volume series about the spoils of war and critique of Vietnam only for it to end in a giant battle.
