This movie is crazy, but not the kind of crazy from a talented artist doing the unexpected. No, it’s the kind of crazy of the untalented having no idea what to do with a property that’s not their own, has a well-established formula that they can’t escape, and is trying desperately to make up for someone else’s failure in the previous entry.
