The Arrogant Heedless Closure of Police Stations is Nothing New

This week���s news of continued closure of traditional police stations https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9310115/HALF-British-police-stations-closed-ten-years-turned-cannabis-farms.html is in fact not new, just a continuation of a long, arrogant process which carries on despite public disquiet, year after year. It is almost 20 years since I wrote this for The Mail on Sunday of 15th April 2001.
