This week’s edition of Donald Glenn’s Songs for Sunday kicks off with the surprising voice and stringed-instrument virtuosity of Sarah Jarosz, a folk artist from Texas who has been wowing fans for almost two decades—and that says a lot when you consider she has yet to celebrate her 30th birthday. She began playing the mandolin at age 10, and later added the guitar, clawhammer banjo, and octave mandolin to her repertoire of instruments. At the top of the list is Jarosz’s cover of the U2 hit I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For with Jarosz on mandolin and vocals. In the second selection she pairs with Parker Millsap in Your Water.
