OK. I've been so busy writing books that I never have time to blog, so this is my first. I just signed up my books on Goodreads so I guess blogging is the next step. My big news is that my book, "Not Again, Lyle," was listed as #2 yesterday on Kindle Free books. I don't know how that will translate into sales now that my 24 hour free offer is over. Seems to me that those who got it free will first have to read it to see if they want to buy my other books or to purchase "Not Again, Lyle," for their shelves. Well, I won't hold my breath, I'm on to writing my next book. Actually I'm half way through but I'm trying not to neglect my hubby so my book will have to wait. Guess we'll make a run to Lowe's which is his favorite past time. I don't want my new book to get cold so can't wait too long to get back to it. He really does come first. Though I really mean God comes first, and family next.
I can see I'm not too great at this blog thing. I opened the blinds this morning to see robins everywhere. The birds and the blossoming trees think it's Spring here in California. The combination of warm weather and light rains, couldn't ask for better. Let me know what you want to hear.

We recently had an extended family reunion at our home which included my three daughters and their 11 children, without their husbands. It was a chance to bring all the cousins together. After 10 days of swimming, camping, a day at trampoline world, Chuckie Cheese, the State fair, a Fun park, and two birthday parties, we mom's and Grandma were exhausted. The 100 plus degree days were a big factor in pushing our patience to the limit while at home, playing bocce ball, tennis, frisbee, and softball. Considering the negatives, I'm happy to say the children got a lot out of their close quarters. Forced to be understanding, learning good sportsmanship, overcoming hurt feelings, going to church, being examples to one another, good and bad, gave them a new awareness of how to handle many different life situations; with three mothers and a Grandmother to correct them along the way.The mothers were a bit frazzled but we're still one big happy family.
