I Am Not of This World

I am not of this world.

I haven’t been for a while.

Since life’s events cruelly knocked me off my axis.

So, I thought.

I used to run with all my might.

But travelled nowhere.

Now, in stillness and solitude I travel limitless within my soul.

For that I am grateful.

The life events I originally thought knocked me uncontrollably off my axis catapulted me into unknowable serenity.

And here, I will build again.

With my soul as my womb.

And infinity as my aim.
