How to come to a signing when you can't come to a signing!

Gary recently had a conflict of schedule that prevented him from coming to my signing at University Book Store in Seattle. 

What to do?  He sent a friend, asking for a photo of her and me at the event, with room for him to join us later.

So, here is the 'doctored' photo, with Gary joining us at University Book Store:
