Small useful post with additional poem

Small useful post:

Right now B&N's NOOK and Amazon's KINDLE are both discounting Neverwhere. It's at $2.99 — these discounts do not last for very long (normally 24-48 hours) so if you want an e-copy, grab it quickly.http://www.amazon.com/Neverwhere-ebook/dp/B000FC130E/?tag=arcadata-20http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/neverwhere-neil-gaiman/1100109136?ean=9780061793059&cm_mmc=AFFILIATES-_-Linkshare-_-TnL5HPStwNw-_-10:1It only applies to the US site. When this happened with American Gods, iBook also dropped the price. I haven't checked…(Edit to add, I checked. They did too. http://itunes.apple.com/us/book/neverwhere/id363686338?mt=11)
....
And from TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2006 Violets are purple,
Which is a very hard word to rhyme
And makes me happy that on February the 14th we don't traditionally have to give each other oranges.

There.
I'd write for longer, as I have tales to tell, or even to cut and paste, but guilt will eat me if I do not drive to a coffee shop and either type or scrawl.

Labels:  cheap books, will you still be sending me a valentine/birthday greetings/bottle of wine?

stormiedog Read it...own it...love it.... Oranges should be given as Valentines (with a tiny arrow stuck in it).

Vee41dmb This is one of my FAV books. It is what turned me on to Neil Gaiman. When I asked a book store clerk what the last good thing he read was this was his answer. It is not a book I would normally pick out myself. I am SO thankful I was introduced to this amazing writer and his work. I have since passed it on to many people who have also enjoyed it greatly. If you haven't read this book you NEED to!

message 4: by Karl (new)

Karl Orbell You particularly need to read this book if you are a Londoner, like me. Makes it extra special - not that it could improve much.

message 5: by Cherish (new)

Cherish Thanks for the tip! I just bought it for my Kindle. This is one of my all time favorite books, by the way.

message 6: by Sifton (new)

Sifton NOOOOO ┻━┻ ︵ヽ(`Д´)ノ︵ ┻━┻ Amazon.co.jp, you have failed me for the last time!!!!

(But to play devil's advocate, I don't have a Kindle yet, so I guess you have a bit of time to redeem yourselves.)

message 7: by Megan (new)

Megan I have it in paperback, but haven't read it yet. I'm sure it's awesome, considering who wrote it!

message 8: by Holland728 (new)

Holland728 This was also my first introduction to Neil Gaiman. Sharing with my friends, since I have a much loved paperback already.
