Interview and review

The wonderful Charles Tan, who may actually be a Science Fiction and Fantasy information-aggregating machine rather than a human being, has interviewed me over at the SF Signal. My favorite exchange:

CT: So how high can you jump?

RJB: Like, really high.

CT: Can you jump over a dumpster?

RJB: Absoluely.

CT: That's awesome.

(Note: that exchange might not have ever happened.)

The prose is top notch, the pace is one that really doesn't want to let you go and with the dialogue the reader is in for a real treat. Add to this a modern reworking on classic mythology blended with the authors own unique style of telling a story and its been a real joy to read.

This is so good I have to go to the bathroom!
