This collection was really amazing. It reminded me of a darker version of Trista Mateer & Amanda Lovelace’s poetry. Which are honestly two of my favorite poets. I picked it up and couldn’t put it down until the very last poem. It was raw and at times had me too close to home, but was so great. She uses fantastic metaphors to tell a story in each poem. I hope to read more from Tone in the future.
