What I’m talking about:

Governor Newsom’s decision to reopen California (even though our hospitals are still extremely overloaded)The Reddit / GameStop / Wall Street fiasco that is making me question the very foundation of our economy (read here)Vaccine envy. I know several people who have been vaccinated (because they work in health care) and I’m SO JEALOUS. Of course I’ll be patient. I’m a very nonessential worker and I’m healthy. I can wait

What I’m grateful for:
My parents got their first vaccine shot this past week (they are both over 65). It has been such a worry to interact with them during this pandemic because they are in the high risk category. I’m so relieved that we can start to enjoy each other’s company without as much anxiety and trepidation.

I’m also grateful for the adult coloring books that continue to entertain me during this pandemic.
