Finally!
I am finally over my writer's block and was able to write five chapters in my current novel, "Fighting The Storm" today. I'm so thankful as it is due for publication soon and is currently on pre-order.
When I listed it as a pre-order on Amazon, I assumed it would be an easy book to write because I find writing contemporary fiction much easier to write than historical - they take far less research from my own experience. However, this book will be different. I'm hoping to tackle a huge topic in the book and therefore have been doing quite a bit of research.
During the past few weeks I have begun to feel overwhelmed while writing the book and gave up for a few days, burning my nose in a few books instead of pressing through and writing regardless. It put me behind schedule but I was finally able to look at the book with fresh eyes and see a path forward. I hope you will enjoy the book when it comes out.
