Earlier today I was editing the passage above and that reminded me of an easy editing tip! 🤓✂️

Ambiguos language isn’t always bad, specially when you have an unreliable narrator (as I love to do). But, in all honestly, sentences with “kind of”, “almost”, or “as though” can benefit from a little trimming. THIS ISN’T A HARD RULE, THOUGH. As with all editing, you have to look at what you’re saying, the message of the sentence, and consider if it would benefit from having the ambiguous language.
