What’s going on, Goodreads!
Today I learned a basket used for sea creature capture is called a creel, although it could also be a small wicker basket that holds fish after the fish have been hauled in. Additionally, the word “ruth” means having pity for someone else, which directly contrasts with the word “ruthless”. Finally, the original penny was made with 100% copper back in 1793 in the U.S., until varying over time, it was being made with 100% bronze in the early 1940s, and today the one-cent coin is made mainly of zinc; it remains to be the only U.S. mint coin that can be pulled up with a magnet.
Mentioning my upcoming book, the supporting characters of this current section I’m working on are in the process of being completed and they complement the protagonist quite well. Thrilled with what’s to come next!
Thanks so much for reading and have a good day!
