This might shock you
but I actually like giving presents more than receiving them. Isn’t that weird? I absolutely hate surprises, I don’t know why. Maybe because life has enough of those already? Lol.
Anyway, I just love giving book presents to everyone in my life, but they look mostly disappointed when they open them :(
Tell me, have you had that experience as well? Trying to give your personal favorite book as a gift to a non reader (you know, as a gentle nudge to maybe help them start the magical experience of reading)… And they end up looking like you gave them a potato for a gift. Actually, worse. They could eat the potato. If they only knew what a pleasure is to devour a book…
