Here’s an Easy Writing Tip!

Whenever you’re outlining a scene, specially if you’re outlining a conversation, write down what you think the characters will say to one another. Not just “Character X tells character Y about what happened to Z” but actually writing out the lines you think these characters will say.

Having some actual dialogue to work from can help you navigate the conversation better, specially when you need the characters to talk about a particular topic / set up a plot twist or reveal.
