HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! I usually don't make a big deal of the new year. At my age it is just another flip of the page on the calendar. Staying up late to party is not my thing (I'm BORING!) It is however, one of the worst years on record for non-war related years in recent memory.
I ran across another short 'sign' that may be hard to embrace since we are still under COVID-19 protocols. Anyway, this is what it said:
Live in the present
Smile at a stranger
Free your mind
More social, less media
Less scrolling, more living
See the beauty in the world
Obviously, many of us are only able to communicate with loved ones thru our electronic devices. So this message needs to be revisted later in the year when the vaccines will have conquered this dreaded virus. Maybe then we all can "See the beauty in the world."
