in Dead Poets Society. Have you spotted it? In all his theatrical talks of love and life, Mr Keating forgot to tell his students the main theme of poetry and literature: it’s death. And until you talk about that, nithing makes sense.
Not with fear or sorrow. But with truth. Endings are a part of life. What we do before the end matters.
That’s why I’m not wasting my time until the end of the year. Surrounded by yellow papers, laptop keyboards, imaginary characters in tip hats and vintage books, I write. I think. I create. Here is to another hour, another week, anothee year, of doing just that.
