Sales have never been good for me, so I understand. It's a shame that we can't get our work sold as we have great stories.
I am curious as to why it costs so much to put it on Kindle? I just add a normal Word file and it does the rest. I find it's (the file format) not much different to the paperback I put out on Lulu.
I don't use Amazon for paperbacks because I don't understand the process on it - me of very little brain.

Thanks, Julie. I didn't know that about Kindle. They must have changed the way you upload files there. I've always used a professional ebook formatter to do the formatting for me. I'll have to look into it, thanks for the tip!
