Use it as a before and after post on the writing process. Readers could see the beginning process and then once it's done, compare it against the finished product.

The process of writing is different for every author. Budding authors would certainly benefit from a before and after comparison...yet for general readers it may be bad form. Certainly a conundrum. Ask yourself who do you want to help or please?
Why would general readers care? And why would it be bad form? Who's law are we breaking? Fans who are really fans know what's going on, drive by lurkers probably couldn't care less. Don't try to please anyone but yourself, I say.
Well, it only becomes an issue when someone happens to come by who ISN'T a fan, sees a mistake, calls Howey a hack (which, WE all know if is not, but they don't), and tells other people. But, as Lyndon said, gotta please yourself. I would just think a bit before leaping...
I certaintly do not think that there is a right or a wrong way of going about this. Only what works best for you?As a reader I would love the idea of getting a intimate view of the through progress and "work in progress" version of it.
From an author perspective you might want to over think it etc, but I do think you are more liberal and progressive in the way in which you interact with your fans / readers and therefore is a pioneer in experiment with that component of being an author. Besides most readers would not mind anyway.
