December Daily® 2020 | Story Eleven

Christmas lists/letters to Santa are something I include each year in my December Daily® project.

This year I decided to simply use the large envelope from the December Daily® 2020 Envelope Bundle to hold all the different kids lists that were printed out after collecting them from the kids (with the exception of Anna who chose to handwrite her list). I added pattern paper to the back of each of the various sizes + shapes of the kids lists and stamped their initials on tab stickers

Here's a look at how this one came together:

Now let's take a closer look via images:

In today's video I talk about other ways you could add in your wish/Santa lists. Remember you don't have to be a kid to document your wish list!

I loved the ease of using the envelope as a home for these little stories. On the outside I added a chipboard number, a gold star, "Santa list" chipboard, and two pieces from the perforated strip set - all these were included in the Main Kit this year.

On the inside I corralled all the kids lists I had access to right now. Aaron has Isaac's (he mostly wants components to build a computer) and these were gathered from texts, the Notes App, and Anna's handwritten list. I decided to take each of those printed pieces and pair them with pattern paper from my stash.

To designate each of the lists I used blank tab stickers + this 3x4 alpha stamp set to add their initials.

On top of each piece of pattern paper (with the lists inside or on the other side) I added a metal rimmed circle tag with one of the fabric circles from the Main Kit on top.

Lots of tech supplies on our kids lists. Elliott included at least three different kinds of headphones.

My favorite thing that Anna asked for is a towel warmer.

Always legos. Always Star Wars.

I'm thinking I'll have Audrey write a few more things in this spot on her page. I took the texts she sent me and brought all the images together on one page before printing.
