Normal? Not normal?

For far too many of us, 2020 will remain that year we wished were different.Each time I think that life has somewhat returned to normal, as normal as life during a pandemic can be, something happens that shakes me. Friends sick with Covid or other serious illnesses, the situation made more difficult with restrictions on how we may visit. Political shenanigans that make it nearly impossible for

Dear P.J. Thank you for your good thoughts. Seems like one challenge after another, but we'll persevere. Actually, she's working mostly at home now as the fire on the first floor created a strong smoke smell throughout the building. I am grateful every day that she wasn't there and hope no one else anywhere is affected by this kind of mindless violence, often carried out by those who don't understand the rhetoric or who themselves have mental problems to cope with. No wonder I'm eating ice cream! But thank you, truly. Beth
