Invincible and Tarnished Knight

For those who haven't seen it yet, here's the cover for the next Lost Fleet – Beyond the Frontier novel (Invincible) which is coming out on 1 May.  Also, I just received the cover art for the first in the Lost Stars series (Tarnished Knight) which will be published in October.  Tarnished Knight is the first book set in the Lost Fleet universe to tell the story through the eyes of Syndicate citizens and takes place in the Midway star system at the same time as the events in Dreadnaught and Invincible.

Samuel I don't get the U.S. covers for the Lost Fleet series. At no point does Geary even touch a gun, and never is the story told from the perspective of anyone wielding a gun, but all the covers are of a man holding a gun looking 'heroically' just to the left of the shot. Give me the U.K. covers any day.

Looking forward to the books though.

Barrie From what I've heard it's meant to be a play on whole Black Jack persona that the government has build up. Think of them as propaganda posters. I personally think it's a marketing ploy to catch the eye of the passing readers, at least the US covers look like they belong in the same universe as the books unlike some of the foreign covers, which are just plain weird. Seriously have you seen the Polish books... Oo
