Flanagan's Flight

I have now finished the manuscript for the sequel to my debut novel, "Bank Street", to be titled, "Flanagan's Flight". It picks up where "Bank Street" left off in 1978 and covers the banking industry during the turbulent decade of the 1980s. The protagonists, Jerry and Maria Flanagan, are newly married, balancing work and grad school, experiencing the angst of buying their first home and starting a family. Some of the seminal events of the decade of the 80s are interspersed among the couple's adventures. Jerry experiences some close calls during his extensive travels on the job. His new audit assignment culminates with him bringing down the curtain on a renegade banker. Many of the original characters from "Bank Street" re-appear, along with a cast of new and colorful individuals who impact Jerry and Maria's lives and careers.

"Flanagan's Flight" is being self-published through BookBaby and is due for distribution in February 2021.
