I’m not going to lie, this book started off a little slow for me. I had heard such good things and I wasn’t really pulled in but I prevailed and I’m so glad I did. Because what the actual hell did I just read? It was 3am when I finished this book because I genuinely just couldn’t put it down at the end. Without giving anything away I’m still so amazed by what I just read. It is a roller coaster of emotions that I had to put down sometimes because it was just too much. I was angry and confused and sad and every emotion possible. I felt like I was right there with Lowen at every turn. I’m still reeling in from what I just read. I absolutely loved this book. It is dark and twisted and gave me an array of emotions but it also surprised me completely. It had me on the edge of my seat until the very end.

I liked this book as it had a cute theme and overall story. I did feel like it was a bit rushed and at times too unrealistic, but then again it is fiction. A cute love story with quality characters.

**This was a short story given to K Leigh’s facebook group as an added bonus from her novel Undeveloped **

Ugh this was perfect!! I’ve been in a reading slump and this is exactly what I needed. I am always happy to read about Matt and Natalie. This was a perfect little bonus to get me more excited about reading the next ‘life unfiltered’ novel Unforgettable.

As always Deglane's collection is raw and impactful. I am always left longing and questioning after reading her poetry. This book is the perfect mix of melancholy and lustful poetry. It is short but it is the perfect amount of poems to leave you wanting more. She delivers a beautifully descriptive collection that keeps you on the hook until the end. She tells stories in her poetry that are so raw and personal you feel like you are right there with her. Her work is always amazing but I absolutely loved this collection.

I had heard great things about this book but I genuinely wasn’t sure what to expect. In the first few pages I realized this book was not for the faint of heart. Easton is candidly raw and honest in her encounters with her husband and her exes. This is a memoir that reads as journals but it should be categorized as a comedy. I was laughing out loud on almost every page. Even if you can’t relate to her outrageous stories, it can be read as a hilarious tale between husband and wife in a self reflective journey through her past. She has excellent comedic timing and delivers a hilarious novel from start to finish.

Wow. Okay so I finished reading this book last night and I absolutely devoured the ending. I was at 70% and I just couldn’t help but finish despite fighting sleep to know what happens. As it turns out this is just part one of two so I need to read Raven’s Grove: Redemption to find out what happens next. Trust me you’ll be glad I told you this and not thinking you’re at the end and boom there’s more. I’m already halfway through that novella but this is about Raven’s Grove. This story had so many twists and turns you start to question everything you know. You become paranoid reading and honestly a little frustrated with her inconsistencies of being paranoid and then being all too trusting in some ways. But nonetheless you need to find out what happened to her and how this ends. It was a page turner until the very end so you will not be disappointed. Ellis and Verdiramo deliver a beautifully chilling story from start to finish. Be sure to check this one out.

I felt like this was a tad rushed (maybe it’s just me wanting more) but it truly was an Epic conclusion to Eves story. You will not be disappointed in her ending

I was only halfway through when this collection made me cry. Rupi Kaur’s work always hits me hard because it is so utterly raw. She writes of her own anxiety, depression, and relationship issues that I could all too personally relate to. It made me feel valid in my feelings I’ve had in the past, that I wasn’t alone in this. But it also made me realize how far I’ve come, as like Kaur I’ve had these issues in the past but was able to work on myself and love myself. Even if Kaur’s work doesn’t personally relate to you as it did for me she still writes beautiful poetry that doesn’t miss in her newest collection. I would definitely grab a copy if you can.

I really liked this book. I was given an arc of the second book in this series According to Plan by Victoria Ellis and loved it. The great thing about this series is each book can be read as a stand alone so after falling in love with book #2 I backtracked to pick up #1. This story was unique in it’s different kind of love story. You ache for Stone and Willa, you root for them, you find yourself yelling at them too. To sum it up, the book is about two people who are right for each other and know it and everyone else knows it but they won’t admit it to each other. I loved reading their story and I definitely can’t wait for book #3 in this series.

“Once you fall madly in love, you’ll only ever love madly again”

I first fell in love with Abel in Folie à Deux which became one of my favorite novels of 2019, then my favorite novel in general. It is an unexpected type of story that quickly draws you in and holds you captive. This short story was a perfection way of adding to Folie à Deux more specifically, Abel’s story. My only complaint is wishing this was a full novel instead of a short story, you get a taste of Abel’s life following Folie à Deux. Rodriguez’s writing is beautiful in the way you feel like you are inside Abel’s head and ache in the ways he does. I devoured this book just hours after receiving an ARC from the author. I only hope she will write more about Abel and Abelia.

I had the pleasure of receiving an ARC in exchange for an honest review from Raine Poetry Publishing. While the release date is still to be determined I finished this poetry collection rather quickly. My favorite poem was definitely ‘Love Costs Nothing’ which provided a beautiful metaphor about love. I felt as though the collection could’ve been longer as it felt like Thamkruphat had more to say. Overall the collection provided a strong theme of self love and positivity. It is definitely a collection you’d want to read if you need a reminder to stay positive.

***I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.***

I have to say this book was not for me. It was very slow paced in the beginning and it felt like i was reading the same chapter over and over. I wanted to like it, I hoped I would but I almost gave up on this book so many times. I was very disappointed in how slow it was. It took up until halfway through the book to get interested. And then every time I thought it was going somewhere the pace would drop. But then towards the end it picks up. You start to question everything you know about the characters and every theory is wronged. There were so many twists and turns and surprises it even surprised me. It kind of made up for how slow the beginning was.

Lovelace’s conclusion to the 'you are your own fairy tale’ series does not disappoint. I really loved the overall theme of this collection; self-love. Lovelace makes many references in her metaphors to princesses and fairytales in a modern and realistic way. She encourages you to be your own person, your own role model & love yourself. She uses the overall theme of self love to remind the reader that you are more than what people think of you/tell you to be. She encourages the reader to stand up for themselves and not lose their voice. This was a strong collection that I would recommend to anyone who has fallen in love with any of her books. This is a strong ending to this series and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

I started this short story and once I started I couldn’t stop! It’s an absolute page turner that keeps you guessing until the very end. You are rooting for Jake and Kari to end up together but there are twists and turns along the road. Having history doesn’t always mean you’ll have a future. If you like romance and want a quick read I definitely recommend checking out this book. Hope to see more from this author!

Halsey is one of my favorite singers so I might be biased here but her poetry is just as beautiful as her songs. This collection touches upon so many different topics but is so utterly raw just like her lyrics. It took me longer to read than most poetry because it hit me harder. Some of the topics are hard and she does provide warnings but you can feel her words come off the page and grab your heart. It was interesting to see this side of her after hearing her songs for so many years. In a lot of ways they hold the same themes and rawness. If you are a fan of Halsey’s or just a fan of great poetry I would definitely suggest checking out this collection. I hope she continues to publish her writing and this is the first of many books.

If you’re looking for the perfect Christmas romance novel then look no further. This book has it all, cliches, a Christmas wedding, a love story, and characters named after reindeer. It is the perfect combination of lustful and sweet. This was one of the first books I have read by Sandor, but halfway through I stopped to read her short story ‘Lip Lock Love’. It was a bit cheesy at times, maybe over the top with the cliches but then it would pull back and you’d have to keep reading.
