Finding Ways to Escape

As you all know, lately I’ve been spending much of my writer’s brain in my paranormal wedding planners world. And it’s a great world to spend time in. But the other day I was talking to a writer friend about the seven year old demon twin characters who play a large part in my demon brother trilogy and it made me laugh at the trouble the two of them constantly find themselves in. Which had me picking up DEMONS WILL BE DEMONS the first book in the series and sitting down to read it again.

Yep, authors do read their books again. At least this author does. I think the reason why I wanted to read this particular story at this particular time is that while the demon trilogy is about three brothers who find love, the true magic of these stories is the extended family and friends who reach out and love these characters. Who push them out of their comfort zones but are also there to hold them up when they stumble.

We all need family and friends right now, especially when many of us can’t be physically together. So this is my escape to a place built on family and support.
