Story of a catfish Part 2. Nov. 8

On Nov. 1st, I shared with you a true story of how I rescued a stray catfish that had found itself on our sidewalk.

The next day, I went out running and saw another catfish by the sidewalk. Only this one was not alive.

And so many questions came to my mind:

Did I miss this one?

Was this fish near the other catfish that I rescued?

How could I have not seen this one?

I would have done something if I had known...

My heart went out to this poor guy. I was thinking about the first stray catfish...the one I rescued. The one who was hopping up and down, making it clear that it needed help.

And I stared at this other catfish who remained still on the sidewalk. And I questioned to this one now baking in the sun: "Did you ask for help? I could have helped you if I had known..."

Don't be like this catfish. I would encourage you today to reach out for help. Talk to someone. If you feel overwhelmed, stressed out, doubtful and afraid...find a friend, a family member or a loved one who you can talk to. We all need help. We are all going through difficulties. Make sure people know that you need some attention! We need each other to get through this unsteady time.

If you need prayer for anything, let me know. I would love to pray for you.
