Story of a Catfish. Nov. 1

True Story.

It was 11:30pm and Travis calls me, saying he sees a catfish jumping up and down on the sidewalk near our house.

---> The catfish was clearly showing that he needed help. Are you reaching out for help with the things that are suffocating you?

I rush to the spot with a bucket and try to pour water on the catfish which he gulps up instantly.

---> Don't wait until you are alone and desperate to become immersed in God's Word. Soak in the Living Waters of the Truth that can sustain you even in your time of need.

I scooped up that catfish and ran to the nearest pond to throw him in to safety. -

--> The catfish was strong and as he clung to hope, he trusted me to bring him to the water. Stay strong and trust that God is bringing you to safety.

Let's be like my catfish friend and expect help to come, that blessings will appear if we remain strong. Be communicative about your needs during this time of unparalleled difficulty. Take a moment and reflect. Let's all trust that God will lead us to safety.

If you need prayer for anything, let me know. I would love to pray for you.
