As a kid I used to say “what if...” all the time. I'm not sure where I picked up the phrase but from a very early age, I always had some sort of “what if” scenario running through my head. My siblings would always tease me for it and my parents would over time grow impatient, if not with the "what if's" then with the fights that ensued when my siblings frustrated me (we were such brats. lol). But I couldn’t ever stop no matter how I tried.
In the end, that “what if” mentality translated into my imagination and became the basis for all my stories. No one teases me now. Well, they still do, but not for that reason.
Bottom line: Don’t try to change who you are at your core, no matter what people say to you. You are who you are for a reason, and G-d will show his plans to you in time.
