Lauren Bodow is a small-town girl with a big city voice who has had a streak of bad luck when it comes to men. On the other hand, Lauren has Ray, a Grammy-winning country music pop star and a judge in the show whose rise to fame was largely based on his sexy good looks. Despite his fame and fortune, Ray is just as lost as she is, and his vulnerable side unexpectedly captivates her. The connection between them is as confounding as it is intoxicating, and he brings up feelings in her she thought that she would never feel again. While Ray helps her find her voice and build her confidence, Lauren helps him discover what it is he’s been missing. But Ray has secrets of his own, secrets which threaten their growing connection.

As the two men battle for Lauren’s attention, all their secrets come to light. Secrets which could ultimately either bind them together, or destroy them all…
