This goldfinch and I spent some time together a couple of mornings ago. It was cold, but there we sat watching each other. These are the tools of my trade. Part of writing is reading, and I write to have readers. Photography doubles as part of the work I love to do and spirit therapy. The coffee (sometimes tea) fuels the work and gives me a break from time to time when my cup is empty.
