What Are YOU Reading?

I don’t actually interact with you, dear readers, nearly as often as I should – and I can’t think of any way to get to know you better than by asking about books. So let’s give it a go, shall we?

What are you reading right now? Is it any good? Is it from a genre you normally read, or are you taking a plunge into something new?

I’m currently back on the Horus Heresy, after Iain M. Banks’ The Algebraist fried my mind a bit. Currently on Vengeful Spirit, which is shaping up to be a very nice piece of light and easy brutal superhuman future-warfare with a side order of stealth missions and a garnish of political intrigue.

What are you reading? Drop a comment below and let’s talk about it.

L.A. Right now I'm reading a fun, totally nostalgic book because I need a break from *gestures at the world* everything. I loved the Monkees as a child (and still as an adult), so I picked up a copy of Micky Dolenz' "I'm A Believer." It's pretty good so far, I've laughed quite hard a few times. The only thing I wish I would have realized was that it was first written in 1993, with only an updated discography, so there isn't anything about his life in the last 25-ish years. Oh, well! I was in it for the Monkees history, anyway!

I usually read fantasy, sci-fi, and my secret vice: celebrity autobiographies--the funnier the better.

Hûw Steer Very nice! I do love a good biography, and musicians always have some interesting stories... Keith Richards' bio was a great read.

If it's been 25 years he might be working on an updated one/vol. 2!
