Guest Speaker

My niece has asked me to come and speak to her careers class about being an author.  I'm doing everything in my power to embarrass her about the request.  I threatened to wear my short levi's mini-skirt and pixie halter top.  (just to give a little perspective, I'm a 41 year old, slightly muffin-topped, high school English teacher, oh and I teach in the same district as my niece's school).  I may just chase her down the halls and hug her and squeeze her and call her name George [image error]

Those of you who are authors are now rolling on the floor laughing.  I know you are.
I'm really looking forward to sharing my love of writing with this young generation.  I love teaching and this is going to give me the chance to share my favorite thing with a whole new group of victims.
