This Song is Blessing Me…

Every morning for the last week or so I’ve woken up singing the song Promises by Maverick City. It is like God has sung this over me in my sleep and I wake up repeating part of the chorus over and over throughout my day.

It is such a huge encouragement because it is a reminder that God hears our prayers and He is faithful. It is also a reminder that God sings over us according to Zephaniah 3:17:

The  Lord  your God is with you,

     the Mighty Warrior who saves.

He will take great delight in you;

     in his love he will no longer rebuke you,

     but will rejoice over you with singing.

The part I keep hearing over and over every morning is:

Great is Your faithfulness to me

From the rising sun to the setting same

I will praise Your name

Great is Your faithfulness to me

One of my go to words for God is faithful. To me whenever I say God is faithful, I am saying God is trusted. He is loyal and true to His word.

As you are going about your day, let this song encourage you. Let it be a reminder of how faithful God is. Most of all, be found praising God no matter what. For I have made in my heart and mind that I will praise His name because He is FAITHFUL!
